Team Registration is closed.  Closing at midnight on Sunday, April 27 enables us to prepare team rosters and to provide team captains with the information needed to carry out their duties and responsibilities prior to Race day.

You can still participate with the team in the 2008 CT RACE IN THE PARK by registering as an individual—our ONLINE registration remains open for individuals until midnight on Sunday, May 4.  Even though you register as an individual, you can walk or run with members of the team on Race day.

Teams are a way for families, friends, businesses, and other groups to join together and show their support for a survivor, a loved one or the CT RACE in the Park.

Any type group is eligible to be a team -- businesses, families, school groups, ski clubs, social organizations, church groups, scout troops, sports teams, police departments, fire departments, running clubs, etc.

• Team members receive all the same benefits of individual RACE participants plus the advantage of early team t-shirt pick-up.
• There is no minimum size for teams but we recommend at least 8 members. If any team has 10 or more members, the team captain receives a team hat.
• Team members can choose any event to participate -- running, walking, Kids' Challenge. Everyone doesn't have to do the same thing.
• An award will be presented at the RACE to the largest team.
