To provide for team participants to register for a longer period of time for the 2008 CT Race in the Park, there will be only one date for Team pick-up and it is later than in the past. 

Pick-up will be held on Monday, May 5, from 3:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Walnut Hill Park in New Britain.  Special arrangements can be made only under extraordinary circumstances. 

Team Captain Race hats will be distributed to qualifying captains at team pick-up. Each 2008 Race in the Park participant will receive a RACE T-shirt and RACE bib number.

DIRECTIONS FOR TEAM PICK-UP
From I-84 East, take exit 35 to Route 72 East. On Route 72 East take the Corbin Avenue exit and turn right at the light at the end of the ramp. This is Corbin Avenue, follow the blue "H" hospital signs. Turn left onto Hart St., go straight at the light on Hart Street. After about 1/4 mile, you will see a stone wall on the left at the Hart Street entrance to Walnut Hill Park. Turn left into the park, then immediately turn right onto the access road. Please, watch for pedestrians; this is a busy, well used and much enjoyed park. Team T-shirt Pick-up will be in the SECOND PARKING LOT ON THE RIGHT, next to the children's playscape.

From CT Route 9, take exit 28 to Route 72 West. On Route 72 West take the Corbin Avenue exit and turn left at the light at the end of the ramp.
