Volunteers are the backbone of all successful organizations. And once again this year, it is VOLUNTEERS who will make the event a success.
The 2008 CT RACE IN THE PARK - and celebrating its 5th Anniversary - will be successful with the help of dedicated individuals joining together to support a cause -- a cause to help reduce the breast cancer mortality rate for women in Connecticut.
The majority of volunteers are needed on two days:
- Friday, May 9, 2008 (the day before the RACE)
- Saturday, May 10, 2008, RACE DAY.
If you have been part of this volunteer force before, we don't need to remind you of the gratification that comes from your generous gift of time and effort. We hope we can count on you again this year. We assure you that you will gain great personal satisfaction from your work. Even more important, you will help us in the fight against breast cancer.
Won't you join us as a volunteer on May 9 or May 10 in New Britain's Walnut Hill Park to help with the 2008 CT RACE IN THE PARK? It will be a most rewarding and exhilarating experience!
We encourage all volunteers to also sign up as a participant in addition to signing up as a volunteer. In celebration of our 5th year, we are giving each volunteer, who also signs up as a participant, a special limited edition 5th anniversary memento.
